| 説明 | Im Bandwirkermuseum. Die Kleinstadt Ronsdorf gehört seit 1929 zu Wuppertal. Einst war sie ein Zentrum der Bandweber-Industrie. Hutbänder, Litzen und Zierbänder aller Art wurden hier an manuellen Webstühlen gefertigt. Heute ist fast nichts mehr von diesem Wirtschaftszweig übrig. Allerdings gibt es ein kleines, liebevoll betreutes Bandwirkermuseum, in dem meine Bilder entstanden.In 1929 the the small town of Ronsdorf was merged into the city of Wuppertal. For several decades Ronsdorf was known as the place where hatbands, braidings, and all kinds of decorative trimmings were produced on hand looms. Today virtually everything of this traditional craft is gone. But there is a museum which documents the work of the weavers. This is where I took my photos. |
