Zoma Kongo, director of Operations, Tanzania People’s Defence Force (center), operates a controlling system of Training Support Activity Europe's Deployable Range Package, observed by Maj. Gen. Salim Mustafa Kijuu, commander of Land Forces, Tanzania People’s Defence Force (left), during a visit at the 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command's Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, July 9. Kongo took part in a Command Sponsored Visit coordinated by USARAF on behalf of the U.S. Army. CSVs bring together senior land force commanders from nations around the world to discuss mutual security concerns and to increase interoperability. USARAF hosted the annual Gender Mainstreaming Seminar in Tanzania in May of this year and will conduct the African Land Forces Summit and the Eastern Accord 16 exercise in Tanzania next year.
