| 説明 | I won't bore anyone with Niagara Falls quotes, or facts. You see too many tourists snapping pictures from a point-and-shoot or overpriced DSLR with some garbage kit lens firing at 5 fps aimlessly with settings that make no sense. Then, after 10 minutes (if that), they leave. It's a gorgeous (no pun) spot, 3 waterfalls, some with caves at the bottom inside the walls, where you can walk to the edge as part of a tour. There's a deck where you can walk and climb around on while a waterfall rushes down on you. The rapids are insane, the noise is so loud that it's impossible not to in some way, feel the power the water is making.OK, I lied, one fact. Nikolas Tesla was the person who was able to figure out how to harness Niagara's power "most efficiently". Thomas Edison was his rival at the time for the Niagara bid. Edison had used dark tactics, even killed a man, to lie to the public into thinking Tesla's AC, alternating-current, was dangerous, and that Edison's DC, direct-current, was safest and most efficient. It took 19 years AFTER Tesla had created a way for power to be harnessed, for it to actually be harnessed. |
