| 説明 | Rho Fiera Expo Milano 2015Theme: Challenge of NatureThe building’s design was developed by the Italo Rota Studio. It suggestively echoes the country’s typical traditional sailing boat, the Dhow, still used by fishermen in the Arabian Gulf, while the lateral façade shows an example of greenhouse and hydroponic cultivation – systems widely used to grow tomatoes, strawberries and salad produce.Inside the Pavilion, visitors firstly find themselves in a space which vividly illustrates the country’s natural landscape and climate. From here they pass into an area showing how advanced studies and scientific research – within an environmentally sustainable framework – have made it possible in recent years to create a hospitable and fertile habitat. In the last section, visitors can immerse themselves in Kuwait’s culture, relaxing as they savor the nation’s exquisite gastronomic delicacies in an area evoking a traditional Arab souk, including a central hearth.(Via Expo Milano 2015 official website) |
