| 説明 | I got back from Seattle yesterday, and my news lens (Canon 70-200 f/4L) was waiting for me :-). We had some gorgeous sunsets yesterday as several large storm fronts moved through, so I just had to go out and take some pictures - hee, hee, hee...This is a strange and wonderful little sign that's part of a whole bunch of odd stuff marking the corner of West 10th and Pacific Avenue here in Morris.======This is the "fixed" version of my original post of this image. The original lost a ton of it's color due to a problem with color spaces (see the comment on this photo for more). This wasn't a problem with the point and shoot pictures, but once I started working in RAW with my new digital SLR it became an intermittent issue, and here is was so dramatic I bothered looking into it. Happily there was useful information in the Flickr forums that quickly pointed me to the solution, and at the same time PatrickKErby kindly passed along the solution in a comment. I still consider the fact that Flickr strips out the color space info a bug (and will post it as such), but the community response was really excellent and saved the day!Now the question is what to do about all the RAW images I've posted in the last two months. I'm obviously not going to repost them all, but there are a few I know I was disappointed with and will probably repost.Weird. |
