| 説明 | This is my cat Hobbes, She's 18 in human years and she really hates it when I take flash photography of her.20071205: Hobbes is still in kitty-hospital. The vet isn't optimistic about her chances for long-term survival, but she is doing much better than when I brought her in. Her main problem seems to be that she doesn't want to eat much and vomits frequently. They've ruled out all the normal things that can cause this in a cat her age.. so the vet is trying her on steroids - on the chance it's an inflammatory condition. It seems to be helping - as she is eating more & hasn't vomited in 24hrs... but it's too early to tell if this medication will be enough to allow her to eat what she needs to survive. I have this picture up as the desktop on my widescreen monitor, I couldn't set it to 'stretch' because the photo isn't wide enough, so I have it centered, and her eyes are intensely staring at me as I type - reminding me of her unique personality. |
