| 説明 | Before the march got to the waterfront, a motorist must have been ticked off at the corner of Holly and Cornwall. The march blocked an intersection briefly as the light turned. The car beeped and then drove past the marchers with the engine revving. I remember a friend of mine who was in his 70s and drove a sports car. He said the car was the only "get up and go" he still felt at his age. Kind of sad, in a way. That friend would have been sympathetic toward the protest though. I say to young people who like to rev up their engines. Revving up one's legs on a bicycle can preserve one's "get up and go" in later years. |
