| 説明 | Geysers are hot springs that episodically erupt columns of water. They occur in few places on Earth. The highest concentration of geysers anywhere is in the Yellowstone’s Upper Geyser Basin (northwestern Wyoming, USA).Old Tardy C Geyser is an unnamed geyser in the Sawmill Group. It is located about 5 meters north-northeast of Old Tardy Geyser and just due east of Crystal Spring. The feature consists of a relatively small, geyserite-lined vent subcentrally located in a weathered geyserite sediment-covered depression. It erupts infrequently with low, light splashing that doesn’t reach above the surrounding ground level (for example, see: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yv0BgmA2msE). The vent is lined with a mix of relatively smooth-surfaced geyserite, finely pustulose geyserite, and geyserite terracettes. |
