| 説明 | Taken on the plum tree in my back garden. I'm fortunate enough to work from home - my garage has been converted to my office, and my camera is never far away. Springtime is my favourite time of year, with flowers blooming, trees blossoming and birds and bees coming and going; it really lifts my mood after the depths of winter.While pondering over complex problems I often step away from my desk and look out into the garden and just take in the surroundings. We're right on the edge of the city, and it's peaceful - we can hear the sheep on the farm a few minutes away, and the hum of nature.This busy little worker was far to preoccupied to notice me lurking! I was able to approach quite casually and watch, taking a few test shots to get things just right. I used a fast shutter, to reduce motion blur in case he should decide to move on, and low ISO to capture the richness of the colours without any graininess, with a relatively wide aperture to compensate. |
