No 2 door hardtop.Sedan; Falcon, Falcon 500, Fairmont, GTWagon; Falcon, Falcon 500, FairmontUte; Falcon, Falcon 500 and Van; just Falcon.The Falcon 500 got courtesy lights, carpet.The Fairmont; bucket seats, console, woodgrain dash, tail lights got a square centre, (Falcon's were round).The GT; Fairmont interior, with extra instrumentation, sports steering wheel, 289 V8, 4 speed manual and full stainless steel wheel trims.Engines; 111hp 170 cu in Pursuit and 121hp 200 cu in Super Pursuit (6 cyls) or 200hp 289 V8 (GT 225hp)The XR was the first Falcon to be assembled in New Zealand, the Falcon 500 in Sedan or Wagon, their upmarket model was the Falcon 600 in 1967. |
