| 説明 | This picture is #10 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group pageI was hoping to add to my stranger collection, so I hopped a few trains into the city. I was mostly people watching for some time, and just taking random street shots. I do this often until I get up the nerve to ask someone if I can take their picture. It takes a bit of courage for me, and time was ticking away. I lost a bunch of opportunities by chickening out, yet when Olivia walked by, I decided enough was enough. I noticed as she walked by that she had a nikon camera strapped to her neck. maybe thats why I finally got the nerve to ask. I said excuse me to get her attention, and then asked her if I could taker her picture. She flashed that smile, very much like the one above, and asked me "what for?".I went on to explain the project and what it was all about. She thankfully obliged and I took this shot. She told me she was a student in the area and she was just out strolling around. She had to leave pretty quickly and I again thanked and gave her my card, in case she wanted a copy of the print. So glad I stuck it out. I almost wasted the day... |
