| 説明 | Taken with Sigma SD15 + 17-70 2.8-4.5 Non-OS Version. After fixing the SD15s focus issues and upgrading to Firmware 1.04, the camera is much improved.Being able to actually focus is nice, but its still going to take me some time to get used to exposure on this camera. Its a lot more finicky than i remember my SD14 or DP1 ever was.The SD14 i had years ago may not have been any easier to use, i may just be remembering taking more nice photos with it, but thats probably just because i had more experience with it.I find the SD15 files cant be overexposed at all, or you cant recover any detail from the highlights. You can recover quite a bit from the shadows though, providing your ISO is not above 400.The SD14 files were the opposite. Shadows were the devil and highlights really quite forgiving, able to pull back detail from even the most blown out skies. If i could afford it, i'd love to buy another SD14 and do some comparisons. These 9 photos are 100% out of camera shots, exported as tifs from SPP and imported into Lightroom for closer (and faster) inspection, then exported again as jpegs. No sharpening at all here! Be sure to view full size and admire the detail.I dont think any other native 4MP camera could achieve detail like this, and the colours, although not SD14 good, they are superb. |
