| 説明 | Competition Yellow. The first generation Montego was built from 1968-71, based on the Ford Torino.In 1968, it was available in three models; Base, upspec MX and the performance Cyclone and Cyclone GT.In 1969, updated grille, new luxury MX Brougham and the Cyclone Spoiler II was produced for NASCAR, (aerodynamic front) Race versions had the Boss 429 engine.1970; a more rounded body, the centre of the hood and the grille protruding forward. The Brougham got concealed head lamps, the convertible was dropped, and a 4 door Hardtop was added.Three models of the Cyclone were available; the 429 base, 351 GT, (hideaway headlights, console and hood scoop). The Cyclone Spoiler got either the 400hp 429 Cobra Jet or 425hp SCJ, spoilers, stripes and a hood scoop The 1971 Montego's grille was of an egg crate look, the Cyclone with a larger ring in the grille centre and new stripes. |
