Abaie, director of Engineering for the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command’s Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, was inducted into the Senior Executive Service on Feb. 2, 2015, during a ceremony at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.During the ceremony, ECBC Director Joseph L. Corriveau administered the oath of office to Abaie and presented him with the SES pin and certificate.Before coming to ECBC, Abaie held leadership positions at the Joint Chemical and Biological Defense Program and Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical Biological Defense from 1998 to 2014. He earned his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1984 and his masters of engineering in engineering management from Widener University in 1989. |
