| 説明 | Charger Red (R4). The Charger was redesigned in 1968, it lost the fastback styling and got a 'coke bottle' shape with scallops in the doors and hood. The headlights still hidden, but now vacuum operated. A facelift in 1969 saw a new divided grille and longitudal tail lights. Models in 1969 were; the base Charger, The new upmarket SE package, with leather and woodgrain.The high performance R/T (Road/Track) with standard 440 cu in (427 Hemi option), heavy duty brakes and suspension.The NASCAR inspired Charger 500, (Sept 68) it had flush back window and Coronet grille for better aerodynamics. The NASCAR inspired Daytona, (April 69) even more aerodynamic with 18in pointed nose and 23in tall tail wing.Engines; 145hp 225 cu in slant 6, 230hp 318, 330hp 383 V8s RT, 500 and Daytona models came standard with the 375hp 440 Magnum and the 425hp 426 Hemi was a option. |
