| 説明 | Last night Yardsale, slogrl, and I drove over the grade to Paso Robles to BBQ with our friend Shane and to take in the annual Cruise night down the main drag in Paso. It was really fun.I took lots of photos of cars and they didn't come out. Too many people, too little light and I couldn't get close enough. But this gives you an idea to the amount of people and just a tad of how many cars. The street was closed for twenty blocks or so.Behind us is a big park and every square foot of it was taken over by rabid cell-phone squawking teenagers. Teenagers laughing, teenagers flirting, teenagers posing, teenagers pouting -- IT WAS GREAT! "It's like we're teens again," said Shane. "No, I'm pretty sure this is like us being the parents," said Mar.Right behind us (we were sitting on a bench innocently eating ice cream) some kid was getting cuffed and it took ten cops to perform this duty. Four cops to cuff him, three sheriff guys to stand protectively with their wide stance and three plain-clothed cops who weren't doing a great job not looking like cops.Ah, small towns.... |
