| 説明 | This is one of those little signal boxes that (I assume) house all the various mechanical and electric gadgetry that makes a train line go. The patchy paint job is no doubt a series of half-hearted attempts to efface the aesthetic contributions of local artists. The title is a reference to one of my favourite O’Henry stories, which has nothing to do with trains or paintwork, but which came to mind as my hands were poised over the keyboard. |
