| 説明 | I changed my evening walking route where I came across this statue of "Muniyandi" , a deity worshipped by the people of the locality.It was a sort of open temple in the corner of a street.People have faith in Muniyandi,the guardian angel, who holds a trident and a "gathayutham" and believe he would ward off all evils and protect them.This child was leaving the spot after praying.She has the holy ash(Vibhooti) and kumkum smeared in her forehead.Such rituals bring in a faith and strength in their minds from childhood. Whenever facing any problem or plight, they pray and the "guardian angel" gives them the courage and optimism. |
