| 説明 | This is a herbarium specimen of Pouteria myrsinoides ssp. reticulata (Sapotaceae), formerly known as Planchonella howeana. It is native to Lord Howe Island and New Caledonia. This specimen was collected on Lord Howe Island in 1969, details as follows: "Game 69/009. A small tree about 25 ft. high, with rough fairly soft light grey-brown bark, the wood exuding milky juice when cut. Young lvs. soft, bright green, older lvs. with a black encrusting coating and parasite-damaged. Fls. pale whitish green. Green unripe fruits present. In forest very near the top of Intermediate Hill, on the E. side. Alt. ca. 860 feet". A duplicate of the specimen is at Kew and is cited in Flora of Australia, Vol. 49, p.147. Lord Howe Island is in the Tasman Sea east of Australia. |
