| 説明 | March the 17th. The LJ Torana was built from Feb 1972-March 1974The 6 cyl cars got the HQ style egg crate grille, rectangular wrap around tail lights. Models were the S; 2 or 4 door and upmarket SL 4 door with 95hp 138 cu in or the optional 118hp 161 cu in.The sporty 2 door GTR got 135hp 202 cu in, 4 speed floor shift, front guard louvres, black out treatment, GTR badging, sports wheels and sports instrumentation.The GTR was developed further for competition use, 1667 GTR XU1s were made, identified by front and rear spoilers, they got the 190hp 202 cu in with triple Stromberg carbys, new close ratio Australian made M21 4-speed.The 1972 Bathurst version (200 made) got 212hp; balanced and blueprinted, and wild ‘HX’ camshaft, alloy wheels. And for 73; (150 made) new tubular exhaust manifold, worked cylinder head, larger valves, heavy-duty axles and stronger brakes. |
