| 説明 | Historical Photos of HBC Co stores (cropped) on Granville 189-3 and ne corner Granville & Georgia 1893- courtesy City of Vancouver Arhives and Vancouver Public Library.Time line:1887: 1st HBC Vancouver store opened in Gaston on Cordova January 17, 1887 closed in 1893 with the opening of the new building on the ne corner Granville & Georgia.1890 2nd location opened on Granville in The Crew's Block selling wholesale and retail groceries in 1890 closed 1893 after new building on ne corner opened.1893: 3rd HBC store Ne corner Granville & Georgia opened Sept. 21, 1893.1895: Warehouse opened at 321 Water Street in Gastown to sell liquor, furs, etc. operated into the 60's.1899: fifty foot extension added to Granville side.1905: An additional 25 for extension on Granville side.1914: Opened first phase of present store on the nw corner of Georgia & Seymour.1925: the old store at the ne corner was replaced with an extension of the new building at Georgia and Seymour.1926.
