| 説明 | Seen here from the rear in Withington (the East Didsbury route 142 'side') outside the Christie Hospital on Wilmslow Road, is ADL Enviro400 19223, which has recently been repainted into new Magic Bus livery and equipped with free wifi.I believe the new (for Magic Bus) Enviro400's are because of Oxford Road's new emission rules to complement the new dedicated cycle-friendly Dutch-style busway, which come into force I would imagine when it is built (not sure when), so Stagecoach are getting in early to start displacing the less eco-friendly non-DDA ALX400/Lolyne Dennis Trident's. And the fact that they are currently fiercely competing with the second of the big boys - First - on these services may also have something to do with it...Click here for more photos of 19223. |
