| 説明 | Remembrance Sunday 9th November 2014 marked the Centenary of the start of World War IThe Civic Lord Mayor of Bristol City and County Alistair Watson led the laying of the wreaths of remembrance at the Cenotaph erected to honour the dead of both World Wars. He was followed by Civic and Parliamentary representatives. Also members of the main armed services and their youth sections. Other sections include the main civil services police fire and ambulance.The Veterans on Parade were applauded as they marched proudly in the November sunshine to take their place. Following the wreath laying The Lord Mayor took the salute of the many participants as they marched past him. The Lord Mayor was supported by the Lord Lieutenant of the County and the High Sheriff.The parade is organised by the Lord Mayor’s Office, City of Bristol and the Royal British Legion |
