| 説明 | Agave shawii. Included in the CNPS Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants on list [2.1] (rare, threatened, or endangered in CA; common elsewhere). Just makes it across the border at Border Fields State Park although this agave is quite common in Baja California. The stalk in the rear is the remains of an Shaw's Agave that bloomed at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden last year. The new spike in the front should bloom next year. The plant in the background in Nolina parryi (ssp. wolfii). Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA. |
