| 説明 | Donors’ field trip to the East of Ukraine facilitated by the United Nations in UkraineAs part of the United Nations’ commitment to support the Government of Ukraine in addressing the needs of displaced people and as planned within the implementation of the Preliminary Response Plan for Ukraine, the United Nations in Ukraine conducted a field trip to the East of Ukraine for the Resident Coordinator a.i., Mr. Jens Toyberg-Frandzen, and a number of Ambassadors and representatives of Embassies accredited to Ukraine. The trip was aimed at raising the Ambassadors’ awareness to the scale of the humanitarian needs on the ground and joint identification of the areas of future support to the people affected by the conflict. The field trip took place from 17 to 19 September 2014 and covered the cities of Kharkiv, Sloviansk and Sviatohirsk. During the field trip the participants visited an IDP collective center, IDP hosting families and a damaged hospital. |
