| 説明 | Further down, deeper in Chiang Mai station was another much more glamouous train. I was a tad apprehensive going right upto that train, as I'm more used to paranoid busybody security men in India and I didn't want to push my luck too far, especially as I had just a little over an hour for my flight out of Thailand. Still, seeing no one around, I prevailed And a good thing too! Turned out that this was one of Thailand's premium crack express trains- the overnight train to Bangkok. (where I was headed as well, by air, how sad!). Notes about this train in subsequent captions. I was wondering that that 'Full Van' on the car side meant. (Chiang Mai, Thailand, Apr. 2014) |
