| 説明 | TACTIC: Start burnout ops at the top of slopes Conducting burnout operations is a useful tactic for firefighters utilizing wildfires to benefit the forest. By applying fire to the TOP of slopes, the fire is forced to slowly back it's way down the slope. If fire were to start at the bottom, it could gain momentum as it races uphill (because heat rises) and become too severe. This tactic helps keep the flames "slow and low." |
