| 説明 | The late 14th Century Beauchamp Tomb at Worcester Cathedral. The effigies are those of Sir John Beauchamp of Holt and his wife. Sir John was the Seneschal of King Richard II, who knighted him and also made him a Baron. However, various lords wished to reduce the influence of the King's favourites and in 1388 the so-called 'Merciless Parliament' attainted Beauchamp and others of the King's Household of high treason and executed them.
