| 説明 | Passing through Friendship Heights I came across a pig. I had seen theParty Animal statues before, but this particular pig statue caught myattention. It was no ordinary pig. It was a Piggy Bank with theinscription, "Can't Buy Me Love" and little hearts decorating itssurface. The following weekend, I had another pig spotting inGeorgetown. This one was so bright and cheerful. Where did these pigscome from and are there more?After a little bit of researching I discovered Capital One inpartnership with DCPS are using the 750 pound piggy banks to enhancetheir Stash Your Cash financial literacy program. 15 middle schools areparticipating in the program and Capital One is donating their time,their expertise and their dollars to the students and schools.In addition, local artists and DCPS students painted all 15 pig statuesand placed them around DC to remind us the importance of Saving,Spending and Sharing.
