| 説明 | Ceanothus parryi—Parry Ceanothus. “Named for Dr. Charles Christopher Parry (1823-1890), an English-born American botanist and botanical collector with the Pacific Railway Survey who visited the Southwestern mountains and deserts many times and is remembered in the names of more than a score of California native plants,” according to Calflora.net. C. parryi was described from a specimen growing in Dr. Parry’s garden in Calistoga, Napa County. This ceanothus grows to 5 meters tall in the wild. Specimens in gardens are nearly always kept shorter. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA. |
