| 説明 | GB Railfreight class 66/7 (JT42CWR) number 66726 named "Sheffield Wednesday" in First GB Railfreight blue and mustard yellow livery with pink and white stripes hauling empty gypsum containers mounted on GBRf FEA single intermodal flat wagons and 6 empty wagons from Mountfield Sidings (Gbrf) East Sussex (British Gypsum's Robertsbridge Works) to West Burton Power station (4E19) on 22 April 2014. To comply with gas emission regulations limestone (CaCO3) delivered to the power station (by other trains) is used to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) from the flue gasses (desulfurisation), by converting it into gypsum (CaSO4·2H2O). The waste product (gypsum) is then delivered by train to British Gypsum's Robertsbridge Works where it is used to manufacture plaster and plasterboard for Greater London and the South East of England. 66726 was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division, London, Ontario, Canada and unloaded from the Heavy Lift Ship at Newport Docks. |
