| 説明 | The Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro is located on the bank the Guanabara bay in the district of Flamengo, RJ. The project of creating an urban area in Flamengo dates back from the 50s and was leaded by the famous Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. The Modernist concrete museum building, designed by Alfonso Eduardo Reidy (1909-1964), was completed in 1955. This photo shows details of the cadence of impressive external pillars sustaining the building platform. |
