| 説明 | A humble addition to my photostream. When writing the word, 'humble', the story of the "Humble Squirrel" in the Indian epic,"Ramayana"came to my mind.When Shri Rama was building a stone bridge in the Indian Ocean, the monkeys and the bears lifted up huge stones and placed them to construct the bridge. The squirrel too wanted to help. So he lifted some small stones one by one and kept them in place in the bridge. Shri Rama did not underrate its efforts but called the squirrel to his side and fondly stroked its back with his three fingers and from that moment on squirrels had stripes on their backs.(The story says the squirrels had no stripes before that!)The story of Ramayana was written by Valmiki in Sanskrit by divine inspiration. |
