| 説明 | With all this rain, most of the rocket launches have been cancelled. So, I've been prepping some motors in anticipation of the next launch window. On various rocket photos, I refer to the letter grade of the motor. On top is the common Estes C engine (300 million of these have launched). Below it is an Aerotech G engine, one of my favorites. Each letter grade represents a doubling of total impulse in Newton-seconds.The shiny new Monster Motors are way-cool gifts from a friend (Thanks Erik!). They are reloadable H and “small I” size motor tubes, engraved with name and phone in case they go missing on reentry. H is the largest that I have launched so far (at XPRS in the Black Rock Desert). I am waiting for the weather to improve to launch with the I motor. |
