| 説明 | After years of Fellowship Baptist Church pushing mountains of snow from their parking lot over the sidewalk on Wells, forcing pedestrians to walk in the street once they get north of 46th St., (see previous pictures) for some reason, on Saturday, February 8, 2014, every drop of snow was removed, and the sidewalk salted.I won't look a gift horse in the mouth; I'm sure it wasn't because of our new city ordinance, mandating stiff fines for property owners who don't keep the sidewalks beside their properties shoveled and salted after every snowfall. I just hope this happens every winter, every snowfall. It's the right thing to do for neighborhood residents who use Wells to walk from the Red Line station to their homes. |
