| 説明 | Located on the wall of Bromleigh House in Abbey Street SE1, the legend reads: "In memory of Violet Alice Tritton 1883-1957 ~ A friend of Bermondsey for more than fifty years". Violet worked at Time and Talents, a hostel for young working girls and women in Bermondsey. This fountain was erected in 1959 at a time when the council estate it is located in was being built. It is a line of children's heads undertaken by students from the Sculpture Department of Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts.
