| 説明 | This stamp is from a library in Chinon, a city in the Loire valley. Chinon is well-known for medieval architecture, including the Château de Chinon, a castle which has been the residence of royalty from both France and England. This book stamp is from a book looted by the Nazis and sorted by Colonel Seymour Pomrenze, one of “the Monuments Men,” at the Offenbach Archival Depot.
