| 説明 | Bang opposite to the Wat Chayamangkalaram Thai Buddhist temple is this one, the Dhammikarama Burmese Buddhist Temple. This ornate gate leads into it. Once again, although it's generally my policy to avoid religious shrines, of any religion, I simply had to check this one out, as Burma (now Myanmar) is off my radar for the moment due to the military regime there. It's a matter of principle. Still, no harm in checking out a Burmese temple is there? (Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia, Nov. 2013) |
