| 説明 | I heard a crash at the intersection so I ran to the scene and was shocked to see a man lying on the ground with his leg up in the air with no foot. People were standing around him stunned. I took off my t-shirt and made it into a turnicate to cut the flow of blood and then held his leg up until paramedics arrived. Someone brought his foot still inside his boot and set it near us. This was at the corner of Topanga Canyon Blvd & Lassen St. in Chatsworth, California. A lady in a van was turning left and the sun was in her eyes as the guy on the bike drove across the intersection. The van hit the left side of his bike bending the foot peg back causing his foot to be cut off. I'll never forget it. I was never able to get in touch with the man after that day. I hope he is doing well. Please watch out for people on bikes. I took this picture with a disposable camera that I purchased inside the gas station after paramedics took over.
