| 説明 | Introduced, warm-season, annual or biennial, hairless herb. Stems are erect, slender and to 50 cm tall. Rosettes are absent or poorly developed at the plant’s base and leaves are oppositely arranged up the stems.Flowerheads are corymb-like with numerous compound cymes. Petals are pale red to dark pink and form a tube, with lobes 3-5 mm long; the tube is less than 1½ times the length of the sepals. Flowering is in summer. A native of Europe, it is a weed of pastures, woodlands, gardens and roadsides. Within pastures, it is mostly found in low abundance along fence lines, around stockyards and other areas of low ground cover. Of little importance for livestock grazing and does not require control. |
