| 説明 | You see them all over China, garbage collectors. Most of them are peasants who came to the city in hope of a better life. They make around 50 to 100 RMB a day which is not bad if you live in a rural area but difficult to get by in a city like Beijing where rent for a simple, one-bedroom apartment is about 5000 RMB. Plus it's very heavy labour and often health hazardous. |
