| 説明 | “While no one knows what has triggered the sudden increase in jelly populations, many suspect worsening ocean conditions may fuel jelly blooms. Nutrient loading (such as fertilizer runoff from land) may stimulate plankton blooms, providing an abundant food supply for jellies; with more food, jellies reproduce rapidly and can quickly dominate an ecosystem.
