| 説明 | Lots of folks who have gotten to know me since 2003 don't know that I'm a published author. So if any of you are finding out by reading this, SURPRISE! Just when you think you know a guy...Sure, the book I co-wrote is a technical book and four other fine gentlemen contributed to the project, but still, I have so little to brag about I may as well brag about this.The photo above was taken at an exclusive press-only book signing event at Piero's in Las Vegas. I was one of maybe six different authors that were present for the event. Comdex '99 was taking place across the street at The Sands. Macmillan Publishing, stewards at that time of the QUE publishing house, flew my wife and I out there and put us up at the Luxor so I could do this book signing and then another in the Linux Pavillion at Comdex. Not bad, and because it lasted only one day/night it was just the right amount of time for a techie Vegas trip. Comdex is exhausting even with good shoes. |
