| 説明 | This is my old 1990 Toyota Camry. I purchased it for (I think) $2700 in the summer of 2000. It was the first car that I ever purchased with my own money. My previous car, a white power-nothing Mazda 626, was given to me by my parents after I totalled my first car: a 1989 Toyota Camry that despite the similarities should not be confused with this one. This car really started falling apart near the end. There was a continuous oil leak (averaging about a quart a month, worse during the summer), the exhaust had a hole, the brake pads were almost all the way down, there was a crack in the windshield, the radiator leaked, and the antenna wobbled. It was so bad that no charity wanted it. I was finally able to find a junk yard that would take it for free as long as I could get it there. As I was filling out the paper work, the guy asks me "Is the transmission okay?" I thought for a moment and realized that the transmission was probably the only perfectly-functioning part on the car.I replaced it with a 2003 Nissan Altima, my first new car.Bumper stickers, from left to right: "Real Men Wear Skirts", from The Church of Euthanasia; "31337 H4X0R", from ThinkGeek; Beyond HOPE, a 2600 convention; "I'm Not Wearing Underwear", I'm sad to admit came from Hot Topic; "Linux95: The Choice of a Gnu Generation", an old Slackware bumper sticker; and on the front bumper, there was a reverse NVAD sticker. |
