| 説明 | Introduced, warm-season, annual, upright herbaceous legumeto 30 cm tall. Leaves have 3 leaflets, each nearly stalkless, 10-20 mm long, narrow, hairy and with entire margins that are often red. Flowerheads are soft, fluffy, rounded to oblong shaped cylinders of white to pink flowers. Pods are small, wrinkled and ball-shaped. Flowering is from spring to late summer. A native of Europe, North Africa and the Mediterranean region, it is mostly found in disturbed areas (e.g. roadsides and wasteland). Its year-to-year occurrence is highly sporadic. Useful coloniser on bare or exposed ground. Of little importance in pastures, but can be grazed by livestock when actively growing in spring; tends to be avoided once in flower. |
