The Valley belongs to the Navajo Indians and is within the Navajo nation. . They run the beautiful VIEW Hotel with balcony views of the valley from each room. They all face the valley so there is not a bad room in the place! We always enjoy our visits here. If you are visiting the southwest, this is a must see park.On our first visit we stayed at The View Hotel, our second visit was with an RV and we stayed at Gouldings Lodge about 6 miles away. I highly recommend a tour of the valley, use the Indian guides for a few $$ and save your car from the bad red dirt roads in the Valley. Plus the guides are full of historical information and know every corner of the valley.
