| 説明 | Located half a mile from the road and but a few yards from the end of the runway of Bentwaters Air Base. The air base is no longer operational but back in the day it would have been a far from tranquil setting. Wantsden is one of only two churches (the other being Chillesford) built from the local Suffolk coralline crag. It gives the building a beautiful warm honey colour - defining it from all its neighbours. There has never been a village of Wantisden its buildings consisting only of a large farm. |
